Job description

  • Consults with client to determine / define need or problem area
  • Conducts study or survey of need or problem to obtain data required for solution.
  • Analyzes data to determine solution such as installation of alternate methods and procedures, changes in processing methods and practices, modification of machines or equipment, or redesign of products or services.
  • Advises client on alternate methods of solving need or problem, or recommends specific solution.
  • Function within a project team

Requirements
The ideal candidate for this position will have a BS in engineering or computer science or construction; with minimum one year work experience in managing projects.

   MS Project Scheduler

Functional Responsibility:
Assists in designing, developing, and maintaining detailed resource-loaded schedules in MS Project. Works with project managers to develop detailed schedules and assists the project mangers in keeping these schedules current. Coordinates with program management the integration of multiple project schedules into an overall Master Program Schedule. Maintains the overall Master Program Schedule.

Professional Experience:
Three (3) years experience managing a master’s schedule for a complex IT development program involving hardware and software development, multiple sub-component integration, system testing and operational test acceptance; or five (5) years experience managing the schedule for a single NASA engineering project. The Master Scheduler should have a least four (4) years experience with MS Project.

Certification and Training:
Professional experiences and training commensurate with technology curriculums typically associated with BS or BA degrees in systems engineering, physics, mathematics, statistics, computer science or engineering (electrical, electronics or computer) from an accredited four-year college or university.

    Program/Project Management Consultant
