Project Masters’ Goal is to partner with our clients to apply industry best practices for developing and deploying (IV&V) with the highest level of quality. We augment existing customer methods and expertise by developing a program tailored to meet our client’s specific needs. We analyze existing processes, introduce standard methods built on the Project Management Institute’s Capability model (CMM), mentor key stakeholders on the benefits to be realized from applying standards, and develop and implement an efficient and effective IV&V program that includes the effective use of metrics to track and evaluate the status of the program/project.
Project Masters’ team plays a number of roles within our clients’ overall team, as is appropriate when creating a true partnership.
At times, we serve as:
- Catalyst
- Moderator
- Mediator
- Mentors
- Leader
- Analyst
- Thinker
- Independent doer
- Educator
In all activities, we are team players, working in concert to achieve our clients’ goals.
Our IV&V clients have realized the following benefits from our efforts:
- Increased productivity and efficiency. Project Masters facilitates communication between management and technical teams to increase the visibility of obstacles . Once obstacles surface, we help management in removing them. The result is, technical teams learn they can trust management to help them reach their goals.
- Precise project tracking and performance based on targeted metrics. Project Masters uses a tailored assessment tool for our clients, and E. V. M. to gather metrics.
- Effective and reliable migration to an established open architecture. Application and use of industry-standard languages, databases, and development/maintenance tools provide the needed structure for the development cycle. We provide monitoring, quality assurance (QA), and testing of “maintenance fixes”, “data changes” and “new function changes”.
