Overview of Program Management Course:

The below outline is based on the PMI Standard for Program Management. Depending on the level of detail covered a class on the new Program Management Standard maybe anywhere from ½ - day to a full week. The Federal Acquisition Institute has indicated (at the FAC-PPM Vendor Meeting October 30, 2007 ) that the PMI PMP® Certification Training will be acceptable for Intermediate (Level II) Certification and The new PMI PgMP (Program Manager Certification Training), would be acceptable for the Level III Program Management Training Certification. The outline below indicates the areas covered in the Program Management Certification Training. This course can be modified to DOL’s specifications.
